SARANI's Vision
SARANI envisages a society where the people especially women and adolescents of rural & urban areas are empowered to develop themselves through their own initiatives, resources and wisdom. We envision that they have food and livelihood security and live with peace, equal justice; mutual respect and harmony.
Mission
SARANI is an inclusive value-based organization committed to peace building and creation of a just and humane societal framework that respects the rights of the most deprived women. In the next ten years we shall work in hundred villages & urban slums spread over different parts of West Bengal mostly inhabited by the most backward and weakest sections of the society. We shall organize the women for united effort to achieve food & livelihood security by harnessing local and natural resources, developing eco-friendly cottage and village industries assuring GENDER EQUITY in all its activities.
